The pioneering programme will equip students with cutting-edge 21st-century skills for global impact.

Lucy Cavendish College is pleased to announce the launch of the Future Global Leaders Programme for the 2024/25 academic year, a pivotal component of its Futures Hub, designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to become leaders of tomorrow.

The Future Global Leaders Programme focuses on developing essential leadership skills, enhancing employability, and establishing connections with leading organisations and future leaders. Participants will engage in real-world leadership projects centred on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), learn from industry leaders, and receive personalised mentoring from industry professionals.

The programme starts with a residential Core Week in September 2024 and continues with a monthly programme alongside academic studies until June 2025, including speaker dinners, visits to significant locations like AstraZeneca and the Cambridge Science Park, and leadership projects. Additional activities throughout the year include an enterprise challenge, networking events, workshops, and talks with guest speakers, designed to further students' professional development and understanding of global challenges.

The initiative invites applications from full-time Masters student offer holders at Lucy Cavendish College, who have an enterprising mindset and a desire to establish a career related to one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Successful applicants will benefit from a comprehensive experience that blends academic learning with practical leadership and entrepreneurial activities, which will prepare them for future leadership roles.

Eligible candidates for the 2024/25 academic year have been emailed application details to join this transformative experience.
