Rochel offers a supportive space for Lucy students of all faiths and none.
I have been working with the student community in Cambridge for the past twenty years. My work has brought me into contact with undergraduates, graduates, and faculty both within my faith community and with a wide range of people of all faiths, backgrounds, as well as with those without a specific faith.
Whilst living in Cambridge I became fascinated with the role that psychological well-being plays in students’ lives. This led me to pursue a MEd at the Faculty of Education in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. The therapeutic work has taken me across Cambridgeshire working in a variety of educational institutions.
The role of Bye-Fellow in multi faith support brings together both faith and well-being, as I will be available to those who would appreciate some processing space for faith related concerns. This may be to do with faith directly or indirectly and the space I hope to provide is there to enable unpacking, processing, and support to any student at Lucy Cavendish.
