The Lucy X running team will be tackling the historic Cambridge Boundary Run on 16th March for student support.
The Lucy X running team, made up of four of our amazing students, Jeeves Rohilla, Firas Zghaib, Viktoria Ellmies and Panos Antonopoulos, will run a half marathon (13.1 miles) around the outskirts of the city, all while dressed in Lucy/60s themed costumes.
Their aim is to raise £1,500 to support Lucy Cavendish students facing financial hardship. This event is an early start of the wider Lucy Giving campaign, which will take place from 25th-27th April.
"We want to ensure that everyone—regardless of their financial situation—can fully engage with and enjoy everything the University of Cambridge has to offer."
Supporters are encouraged to donate whatever they can; every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
Once someone donates, they’ll receive a thank you message with a link to a Google Form where they can vote for their favourite costume for the team to wear during the run.
