As part of our ongoing remit to support participation at Cambridge in its widest sense, we welcome applications for part-time study in a range of subjects and disciplines.
Currently we have just under 150 students from the UK and around the world, studying part-time Masters courses and undertaking research for a PhD, in subject areas which include AI in Ethics & Society, Business Administration, Chemistry, Education, Creative Writing, Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation, Sustainability Leadership, Writing for Performance, History, and Music.
Part-time students are welcomed to the College with a Matriculation ceremony and a formal meal, either during their first residential or during the academic year, hosted by College Fellows.
Every part-time student has the support of a Tutor who specialises in the specific needs of part-time students.
Events specifically for part-time students are planned by our Student Office to take place during course residentials, enabling part-time students to have similar opportunities to those available to our full-time students, such as academic skills sessions, the Advanced Research Seminar, public and private lectures, and formal dinners.
