The Lucy Cavendish City University of Hong Kong Scholarships provide 20 fully funded Masters scholarships to support exceptional Postgraduate students from CityUHK and universities in the UK and worldwide. The scholarships are for full-time, one-year Masters programmes, including LLM and MCL but excluding MBA and MAST.

The Hilary and Galen Weston Foundation Scholarships fully funds two international female students from non-traditional, low-income backgrounds studying Masters courses linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

The Salters Fellowship is to be awarded to a UK Chemistry (including Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry) graduate from a disadvantaged background undertaking a one year Masters degree at Lucy Cavendish College in a complementary subject including, but not limited to, engineering (chemical, electrical, mechanical), artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science/information technology, data management and modern languages. The award is made possible thanks to the Worshipful Company of Salters and Lucy Cavendish College.

The American Friends Scholarships provides one scholarship for a student from the USA or Canada.

The Lord Frederick Cavendish Scholarship provides one scholarship in any discipline.

The Ernest Hecht Scholarship provides one scholarship to support mature female students from the UK, in any discipline.

The Becker Law Scholarship supports Law students following LLM and MCL degrees. Please note the later deadline of 1 June for this award.

Commemorative Bursaries provides support students in any discipline.

The Dorothy and Joseph Needham Scholarship provides one scholarship for students in the sciences.
Award value: approximately £1500
The award supports a student undertaking an MPhil related to global health and infectious diseases. It is part of a programme funded by donors to Lucy Cavendish College and Trinity College. The donors wish the award to be for an individual who could not otherwise afford to undertake an MPhil in this area. Eligible candidates must have applied to the University of Cambridge for admission to an MPhil. Any MPhil courses in the Biological Sciences and Population Health Sciences dealing with INFECTIOUS DISEASES AND GLOBAL HEALTH listed in the University of Cambridge postgraduate course directory will qualify.
The scholarship covers:
1. Postgraduate Course Fees (or a partial contribution to the cost of Overseas fees)
2. Maintenance allowance (at the UKRI rate) for the duration of the MPhil
The De Reus Foundation Scholarship supports one home Masters student undertaking Philosophy or Classics courses.

The Masterman Braithwaite Scholarship provides one scholarship with preference given to a student studying Linguistics.

Awards offered in conjunction with a University department
Lucy Cavendish CCI Scholarship for the M.Phil in Conservation Leadership supports a full-time M.Phil in Conservation Leadership student, tenable at Lucy Cavendish College with preference given to offer-holders who select Lucy Cavendish as first choice in their application to Cambridge. No application for this award is necessary: the Department of Geography will nominate offer-holders based on academic merit.

Lucy Cavendish College Masters in Bioscience Enterprise Scholarship Offer-holders must select Lucy Cavendish as their first choice College and receive an offer to join the Masters in Bioscience Enterprise (MBE) programme and an offer of College membership from Lucy Cavendish College. Offer-holders will be required to submit an application to the MBE administration team at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biosciences. Leigh Stoeber Scholarship for offer-holders of the MSt Social Innovation who apply to the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation (CCSI) Scholarships. This award is dedicated to the memory of our former Senior Tutor, Dr Leigh Stoeber, and has been made possible by the generosity of a donor to Lucy Cavendish College. The award is administered in partnership with the Judge Business School and offer-holders for this part-time MSt course have the opportunity to apply for the Leigh Stoeber Scholarship if they receive a formal offer of a place on the course by the department deadline. Offer-holders will be provided with information about how to submit a scholarship application by the MSt Social Innovation team, and must submit their application by the department deadline, usually in mid-May.

Alumni Association Scholarship provides support to current students continuing their studies at Lucy Cavendish.

Small grants are also available from Lucy Cavendish College for costs associated with:

Travel, Research and Conferences. Students are eligible to apply for a small grant once each term for travel, research and conferences.

Language Courses. Awards may be made to support language courses but funds are limited and preference is given to those students for whom the language course is necessary or relevant to their course. Please note College does not support the ADTIS English Programme.

Medical electives and Veterinary placements. Students are eligible to apply for a small grant once each term for costs associated with medical electives and veterinary placements.

Participating in elite Sport. For current members of a University team or squad, awards for Sport may be made for subscriptions, fees or for kit expenses to represent the University. Students must have received blue/half-blue status.

Making the Most of Cambridge fund. This fund is available for non-academic related activities such as volunteering, clubs & societies, sports club or team memberships, drama, dance, or music groups, kit or equipment or social events.
