The Roysia Foundation STEMM Bursaries will help talented students access Cambridge’s world-class education.
Lucy Cavendish College’s mission is to attract, support, and unlock the potential of students with exceptional talent from groups who are under-represented at the University of Cambridge. We are committed to expanding opportunities for those driven by a desire to make a lasting difference in society, in particular by addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
In support of this mission, the Roysia Foundation has generously pledged to support three STEMM bursaries a year for three years for first year undergraduate students at Lucy.
Bursaries alleviate the financial pressures of living costs, helping to ensure that the world’s brightest minds from all backgrounds can access a world-class university education and excel at Cambridge, before graduating with the skills and confidence to make a positive impact in society.
Quote from Trustee and Chair, Dr Lee Harland “We have been deeply impressed by Lucy Cavendish College's commitment and achievements in championing the aspirations of underrepresented students. The Roysia Foundation is proud to collaborate with Lucy Cavendish College to advance our mutual goal of widening opportunities and ensuring accessibility at esteemed institutions like Cambridge.”
