Dr Williamson’s gifts have supported two students studying medicine and out-reach activities in STEM subjects, enabling us to promote Lucy to a wider pool of talent.
Why I support Lucy
“Thanks to an excellent state school, and generous grant provision, I was the first member of my family to go to university. My medical degree led to a wonderful career in transfusion research and policy making. It is essential that students like me should still be able to study medicine or science at top universities. Lucy Cavendish leads the way in opening doors for talented students, and I am proud to support our efforts”.
