Are you interested in running for a position on this year’s MCR committee?

The nominations for this year’s MCR Michaelmas Term by-elections are still open! The deadline to submit your manifesto plus a plain text version of it is at 11:59pm, Saturday, 2nd November 2024; please send your documents to both our MCR president Chris (mcr-president@lucy.cam.ac.uk) and our PG Events Officer Lisa (lisa.bernhardt@lucy.cam.ac.uk). Before submitting your manifesto, please carefully read the elections booklet (see below).

We’re looking to fill the following positions:

  • Secretary (exec)
  • Masters Representative (exec)
  • Social Secretary (x2) (non-exec)
  • Welfare Officer (non-exec)
  • Disabled Students’ Officer (non-exec)
  • LGBTQ+ Officer (non-exec)
  • Mature Undergraduate Rep (non-exec)

Please note: All committee positions can only be filled by a full member of the MCR (with the exception of the Mature Undergraduate Rep which is only open to mature undergraduates of the college).

Hustings will take place on Monday, 4th November 2024, at 7.30pm in the Wood-Legh Room (Strathaird); remote attendance will be via Microsoft Teams, and we will send out a link before the event. The online voting period will be between 9am, Tuesday, 5th November 2024, and 12pm/midday, Friday, 8th November 2024; the link to the voting portal will be sent out in the morning of Tuesday, 5th November 2024.
